Join the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Foundation for the 11th annual run/walk and family fun day dedicated to promoting health and wellness in Miami-Dade County. Participants include children, parents and guardians, teachers and administrators representing over 200 M-DCPS schools. Proceeds from 5K race registrations benefit participating schools.

Since 2008, the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Foundation (formerly the Foundation for New Education Initiatives) has brought tens of thousands of families together at the Superintendent’s 5K. In 2025, 242 schools and more than 7,000 runners and walkers participated. Awards go to overall male and female runners and runners categorized by age group.
