What is the M-DCPS Marketplace?
The Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) Marketplace serves as a critical resource for students and families across the district, addressing the urgent needs of those facing homelessness, food insecurity, and unexpected hardships. By strategically expanding to 20 Marketplace Pantry locations, Miami-Dade County Public Schools aims to ensure that these resources are accessible to all families in need, particularly newly arrived families, unaccompanied youth, and families offering shelter to others. Each Marketplace requires $25,000 to launch and stock it with essential food and supplies for an entire year.
