What is the M-DCPS Marketplace?
The Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) Marketplace serves as a critical resource for students and families across the district, addressing the urgent needs of those facing homelessness, food insecurity, and unexpected hardships. By strategically expanding to 20 Marketplace Pantry locations, M-DCPS aims to ensure that these resources are accessible to all families in need, particularly newly arrived families, unaccompanied youth, and families offering shelter to others. Each Marketplace requires $25,000 to launch and stock it with essential food and supplies for an entire year.
